His contributions have played a significant role in strengthening indigenous medical knowledge and promoting holistic healthcare practices.
The Ayurveda Day 2025 event was organized by the Ministry of Health and Mass Media and the Department of Ayurveda, Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the High Commission of India, Colombo; Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center; Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo; and Gampaha Wickramaarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine.
