Dr. R.S.Jayawardane

Professor R.S.Jayawardane of Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo is a world-renowned Ayurveda expert and educator in Sri Lanka with thirty years long term teaching experience. He was the former director of Institute of Indigenous Medicine, registrar of the Ayurveda medical council and General Manager of Sri Lanka Ayurveda drugs cooperation. He holds a Master’s Degree on Ayurveda Siddhant and Darshan from Banaras Hindu University in India and PhD from University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. Professor Jayawardane is one of the most academically accomplished Ayurveda professionals in Sri Lanka who has traveled worldwide popularizing Ayurveda, setting up clinics, offering courses for both medical professionals and laypersons, and has provided Ayurveda consultations for thousands of patients. He is an internationally acclaimed motivational speaker and a visiting lecturer at various Ayurveda Institutes and Universities in Sri Lanka. He was an Advisor and Consultant for the Ministry of Indigenous Medicine and Department of Ayurveda. He is an experienced clinician and who adds tremendous value to his clients and students alike. He is an internationally acclaimed researcher, bestselling author, and formulator and consultant to various nutraceutical companies.

Dr. Dhanushka Karunarathne MS(Ay), Consultant gynecologist in the field of Ayurveda, Dip in Psychology & counseling, Dip in Yoga

Dr.Dhanushka Karunarathne is experienced, India trained Ayurveda practitioner in Sri Lanka currently work as a lecturer of Institute of Indigenous Medicine, university of Colombo who received her BAMS degree in 2007 from University of Colombo in Sri Lanka. She obtained her MS(Ay) postgraduate degree in obstetrics and gynecology from world reputed Banaras Hindu University in India.

She is a one of the popular lecturer, consultant physician and a good researcher in the field of Ayurveda. She disseminates her knowledge as a counselor for the society since more than ten years. She enjoys seeing patients make progress and giving advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Her sole focus is on providing the best Ayurveda health care, including Panchakarma treatments by bringing Ayurvea and Sri Lankan traditional systems of medicine together.
